Terms of Service

These terms cover use of Gyanank, currently offered free during beta. By creating an account or submitting a response to a Gyanank survey, you agree to the terms below.

1. Who can use Gyanank

You must be at least 18 years old to create a researcher account. Gyanank is not directed at children. Survey respondents must be 18 or older, or answer with a parent/guardian assisting them — every respondent form requires this confirmation before submission.

2. Your responsibilities as a researcher

• You're responsible for the content, legality, and ethics of the surveys you create — including obtaining any institutional ethics/review clearance your college, university, or department requires for your study.
• Don't collect more personal data than your study actually needs. Gyanank's AI defaults to anonymous questions; if you add identifying questions (name, email, phone), make sure that's necessary and disclosed to respondents.
• Studies involving children (under 18): if your study targets minors, YOU are responsible for obtaining verifiable parental consent as required by the DPDP Act (§9) and for following your institution's ethics process. Gyanank's built-in "18+ or guardian-assisted" checkbox is a platform baseline, not a substitute for that consent. Never direct a survey link at children for independent completion, and never collect a child's contact details.
• Don't use Gyanank to harass, discriminate against, deceive, or impersonate anyone, or to collect data for any unlawful purpose.

3. AI-generated content

Gyanank's AI drafts questionnaires, suggests which statistical test fits a question you ask, and writes plain-English explanations of results. Review AI-drafted questions and consent text before publishing a survey — you're responsible for what you ultimately publish. The underlying numbers (means, p-values, correlations, and similar) are always computed deterministically by standard statistics libraries, not generated by the AI, but the AI's choice of test and its written explanation should still be checked against your own understanding of the analysis, especially for anything you intend to publish or submit academically.

4. Your data, and ours

You own the surveys you create and the responses collected through them. We process that data as instructed by you, to operate the service — see our Privacy Policy for details. You can export or delete your data at any time from your dashboard.

5. Availability

Gyanank is offered "as is" during its beta period. We aim for reliable uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change as the product develops.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Radhakripa Medtech Private Limited isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Gyanank. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

7. Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time; this removes your surveys and their responses. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, particularly around unlawful data collection or abuse of the respondent-facing forms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts where Radhakripa Medtech Private Limited is registered.
